As we kick off Pharmacy Week, I am proud to celebrate you—the pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and student pharmacists whose expertise and dedication make a difference for patients across Florida every day.
This week, we celebrate both the people of pharmacy and what we accomplish together: preventing medication errors, advancing clinical services, improving access to treatment, and guiding patients through increasingly complex therapies.
We celebrate the research and quality improvement work that strengthen care, the advocacy that moves our profession forward, and the mentorship that prepares our next generation of pharmacy professionals.
Behind each accomplishment is a person whose life is better because of your work. A medication discrepancy caught before discharge. A treatment plan tailored to a patient’s needs. A family leaving with a clearer understanding of how to care for someone they love. These moments may not always receive recognition, but their impact is lasting.
Share Recognition
I encourage you to use this week to celebrate your team’s achievements, thank a colleague whose contributions deserve recognition, and share the stories that show pharmacy’s value.
Our work deserves to be seen, understood, and celebrated.
