Pharmacists for Improved Health Care Outcomes
Mission
Pharmacists for improved health care outcomes is the official Political Action Committee (PAC) for FSHP. Its mission is to support those legislators who support and advance the pharmacy profession. The FSHP PAC solicits contributions from pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy students, pharmacy residents, and other health care associates who want to support the profession of pharmacy.
PAC Charter
The goal of the FSHP PAC is to provide campaign dollars to legislators who are pharmacy friendly AND willing to advocate legislatively on behalf of pharmacy issues.
We advocate legislatively for the future of pharmacy:
- Through expansion of pharmacist jobs by allowing us to practice at the top of our license
- Pharmacists to be acknowledged as health care providers
- Updated Physician-Pharmacist Collaborative Practice Legislation
- Improved Pharmacy Technician roles and jobs
- Transparency in drug pricing
