Membership Info

• The discounted membership rate only applies to the  Pharmacist - 1 Year and Technician - 1 Year memberships.
• Group must consist of at least 15 "Pharmacist - 1 Year" and/or "Technician - 1 Year" memberships from the same employer (health system/company).
• Applicable discount (5-15%) depends on number of eligible employees:
  • Groups with 15-24 "Pharmacist - 1 Year" and/or "Technician - 1 Year" memberships will receive a 5% discount.
  • Groups with 25-50 "Pharmacist - 1 Year" and/or "Technician - 1 Year" memberships will receive a 10% discount.
  • Groups with 51 or more "Pharmacist - 1 Year" and/or "Technician - 1 Year" memberships will receive a 15% discount.
• There are 2 payment options:
  • A single payment directly from the employer for all group membership dues is preferred.
  • Individuals can pay their own membership dues (all payments must be received within 7 days of the issued discount).
• A single contact person must be identified for each Group Membership for FSHP to communicate.

If you are a group membership coordinator, please contact the FSHP Staff BEFORE preparing your list to ensure a smooth process.

• For existing groups, FSHP Staff can provide a list of your current/previously submitted members so all you will need to do is update that list. This keeps the info in the format needed by our system allowing us to update your group members' accounts much quicker.
• For new groups, please use our Group Membership template to provide your group members. Providing the information in other formats will delay the process.

   We HIGHLY recommend proofreading your list to ensure names and email addresses are correct and to make sure they do not have people listed more than once. These are errors that lead to delays, overpaying, and other issues.

2. Calculate total payment by multiplying the number of members your Student Chapter has by the current Student membership rate, which can be found on our Membership Types.
3. Submit payment:

• If paying by check, mail to the address at the bottom of the website.
• To pay by card (if a faster turn around is needed), let us know and we will create an invoice payment link for you.

Important Notes:

• Memberships are not entered until payment is received. That means your Student Chapter members are not FSHP members yet and cannot take advantage of FSHP member benefits until payment is received.
• You can submit new members anytime, so we recommend submitting your member list early in the school year/cycle and then you can send any new members to us separately later, either on a one-by-one basis or in groups. It is recommended to send new members to us at least on a monthly basis to ensure those members get access to FSHP benefits.

Q. How do individuals pay for their Group Membership?
A. In cases where individuals will pay for their own memberships, FSHP Staff will issue promotional codes for each group member that will give them the discounted rate. Each employee is then responsible for renewing and/or joining online and entering the promotional code where the discount is automatically deducted.
NOTE: If group members do not complete payment within 7 days of the promo codes being issued and/or requirements are not met, FSHP reserves the right to cancel any/all memberships for that group and/or charge the remaining balance of the full membership cost.

Q. How long is the discount for?
A. Group membership discounts are applied as a one-time transaction for each qualifying group. Each group must submit for the discount annually. 
NOTE: Multiple groups from the same employer may submit for Group Membership within the same year.

Q. What if some of the employees recently joined or renewed?
A. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively; however, their memberships can be renewed early.

Q. Is Group Membership only for health systems or can a group of Regional Society members submit to receive this discount?
A. Only groups from the same employer are eligible to get the Group Membership. Regional Societies or other groups not employed by the same employer are not eligible.

Q. What if we have a group that does not meet the minimum number of eligible members?
A. Groups from the same employer (health system/company) with less than the minimum number of eligible group members may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact FSHP Staff to apply.
