Membership Types

Please select from one of the following Membership classifications. Members shall, at the time of application or at renewal, be classified into the category of membership for which they qualify.

Pharmacists

1 Year

$ 199 per year
  • Licensed pharmacists, in good professional standing, who support the goals and objectives of the society.

2 Year

  • Licensed pharmacists, in good professional standing, who support the goals and objectives of the society.

Joint
(Spouse/Spouse)

$ 325 per year
  • Membership for licensed pharmacists who are married, in good professional standing, who support the goals and objectives of the society.

Retired Pharmacist

$ 99 per year
  • Pharmacist who have been active in the society and have retired will be eligible to qualify and apply for retired membership if they meet the following criteria: Are age 65 or older and who are retired from full time or part time employment as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician.

Graduate Pharmacist

$ 69 per year
  • For licensed pharmacists enrolled in a full-time professional or graduate degree program.

Resident
(PGY1 or PGY2)

$ 69 per year
  • For newly licensed pharmacists in a pharmacy residency or fellowship program.

New Practitioner

$ 69 per year
  • For newly licensed pharmacists NOT in a pharmacy residency or fellowship program.
Complimentary

New Graduate

$0 for 6 months
  • 6 months of membership for newly graduated pharmacists. For more details contact the FSHP office.
  • This membership is for graduating pharmacy students only. Must sign up within 6 months of graduation.

Pharmacy Technicians

Technician

$ 49 per year
  • Available to individuals employed as pharmacy technicians or pharmacy support personnel.

Retired Technician

$ 24 per year
  • Pharmacy Technicians who have been active in the society and have retired will be eligible to qualify and apply for retired membership if they meet the following criteria: Are age 65 or older and who are retired from full time or part time employment as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician.

Students

Pharmacy Student

$ 10 per year
  • Any unlicensed graduate or undergraduate in good academic standing. Students must be enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy in the U.S. Students do not receive CE. (Licensed pharmacists enrolled in a post-baccalaureate doctor of pharmacy program or other graduate degree program are not eligible for student membership.)

Technician Student

$ 10 per year
  • Individuals enrolled in a Florida Board of Pharmacy approved pharmacy technician training program are eligible for a one year renewable membership, for up to two years. Enrollment information will be required at the time of application and renewal. Registered Pharmacy Technicians are not eligible.

Others

Associate

$ 199 per year
  • Members who by their work in the health services, the teaching of prospective health-system pharmacists or otherwise are contributing to health-system pharmacy, shall make themselves eligible for membership. Associate members are not eligible to vote or to hold elected office.

Notice:  Dues paid to Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Inc. (FSHP), classified as a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit- organization, are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.  However, they may be deductible under other provisions of the Internal Revenue Code (such as ordinary and necessary business expenses) subject to restrictions imposed as a result of lobbying activities.  In those situations where dues may be deductible, FSHP estimates that the nondeductible portion of your dues is 20%.  If you have further questions, we recommend that you consult with your tax advisor.

Group Membership

FSHP offers a group membership discount for applicable groups from the same employer (health system/company).

  • The discounted membership rate only applies to the  Pharmacist - 1 Year and Technician - 1 Year memberships.
  • Group must consist of at least 15 "Pharmacist - 1 Year" and/or "Technician - 1 Year" memberships from the same employer (health system/company).
  • Applicable discount (5-15%) depends on number of eligible employees:
    • Groups with 15-24 "Pharmacist - 1 Year" and/or "Technician - 1 Year" memberships will receive a 5% discount.
    • Groups with 25-50 "Pharmacist - 1 Year" and/or "Technician - 1 Year" memberships will receive a 10% discount.
    • Groups with 51 or more "Pharmacist - 1 Year" and/or "Technician - 1 Year" memberships will receive a 15% discount.
  • There are 2 payment options:
    • A single payment directly from the employer for all group membership dues is preferred.
    • Individuals can pay their own membership dues (all payments must be received within 7 days of the issued discount).
  • A single contact person must be identified for each Group Membership for FSHP to communicate.
